Joining Instructions

The detailed programme and programme overview can be downloaded from this website

A map of Marburg including the location of the train station, university conference venue, Welcome Hotel and conference dinner can be downloaded from the home page.

Please note that in order to accommodate everyone for the welcome reception we had to change the venue from the Old University to the Hörsaalgebäude, the same site where the conference will take place. However, you still have a chance to see the Old University if you participate in one of the guided tours on April 2 or if you ask a member of the local Organizing Committee to take you there during one of the lunch breaks.

Oral and poster presentation information can now be found on the abstract submission page of this website

The registration desk will be open on Friday, March 30 from 2 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. and during the entire Congress. The registration desk is located on the ground floor of the university lecture hall building (“Audimax” (Hörsaalgebäude) on the map: http://www.ecfg.info/images/Marburg_Map.pdf)

Cafes and Restaurants in Marburg
We have managed to keep the registration fee low by not providing lunches or dinners. There is an excellent choice of cafes and restaurants close to the venue and we are providing a long lunch break.  A list of restaurants can be found in your delegates pack.

Guided Tour
Those of you who signed up for the guided tour on-line will be issued with a ticket at registration. Please hand this in to sign up to one of the tours.

Free wireless internet access is available in the conference building (not in the meeting rooms) to those who bring their own lap top (there are no computers available). A wireless access code will be provided in your delegates pack.

Travel instructions can be found on this website, venue and accommodation page
